Vaccine Policy
Our Commitment to Your Health
As your Primary Care team, we are dedicated to providing safe, evidence-based, compassionate care. Vaccines are an important tool for preventing serious illness, and we encourage all patients to stay up to date with recommended vaccinations according to the ACIP. Vaccination is strongly encouraged. Your care with us is not dependent on your vaccination status.
Why We Encourage Vaccination
Vaccines can help:
- Protect you from preventable diseases
- Reduce the severity of illness if you do get sick
- Protect vulnerable patients in our community, including infants, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems
We want to support you in making informed decisions that fit your health needs and personal circumstances.
Your Choice is Respected
We understand that every patient’s health situation and beliefs are unique.
- You will not be denied care if you choose not to be vaccinated.
- You will not be treated differently or judged based on vaccination status.
- Our role is to guide, educate, and support—not to pressure.
- If you chose not to vaccinate, we do require a waiver to be signed and you must schedule and keep all well-child visits.
How We Support Your Vaccination Decisions
To help you make the best choices for your health, we provide:
- Clear, evidence-based information about vaccines
- Opportunities to ask questions and discuss concerns with your clinician
- Assistance with accessing vaccines during your visit or at nearby pharmacies or health departments
- Help review your immunization history and planning future vaccinations.
Our goal is to empower you with trustworthy information and personalized guidance.
Safety Measures for All Patients
Regardless of vaccination status, we follow strict infection-control practices to ensure a safe environment for everyone, including:
- Frequent sanitization of exam rooms and common areas
- Hand hygiene protocols for staff and patients
- Guidelines for managing symptoms and contagious illnesses
These measures help protect all patients, including those who cannot receive certain vaccines.
Open Communication
Your questions and concerns are always welcome. We encourage open, respectful conversations about your health, including vaccines. Please feel free to discuss anything with your provider—your comfort and trust are important to us.
